We visit the presidential residence at Bessastaðir as well as Hafnarfjordur, the town where the 'hidden people' and humans live together in harmony. We pay a visit to the old fishing harbour and when possible, the fish market.

Tour includes hotel pick-up. Rates are in US Dollars. Please reserve online, or call us toll-free at 800-719-6376. There is a $3.95 processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

In Reykjavik we go to the restaurant Perlan, which is built on water tanks that hold the city's hot water supply. There we can enjoy the spectacular view over Reykjavík and it's surroundings. We go to Hofdi house where the all-important summit between President Ronald Reagan and Secretary General Mikhail Gorbachev took place in 1986. We visit the University area, the old town centre where the Icelandic parliament Alþingi is situated, the town hall and the pond Tjornin, frequently visited by families feeding the birds all year around.

We'll also see Hallgrímskirkja church and the garden where the sculpture Einar Jonsson kept his work, inspired by the Nordic mythology and paganism. We will show you the sports and recreation area in Laugardalur, a geothermal heated outdoor swimming pool and sculptures crafted by Asmundur Sveinsson.
